Back due to popular demand, we are very excited to announce our Easter Creative Workshops for 2023. These sessions are a great introduction to any young creatives interested in learning some new skills over the easter holidays.
Are you aged 14 - 18 and interested in learning new skills in music, games, software or visual effects? Or maybe you dream of running the next big Esports brand or team?
If so, our Easter Workshops are perfect for you!
During the Easter break on the 12th of April, we are hosting a day of creative workshops at our Bristol campus on the following subjects:

Animation & Visual Effects
Would you like to learn the basics of animation, enhance your social media videos or become skilled in creating special effects for Film & TV?
Our VFX taster session is tailored for individuals with little to no filming or editing experience, as well as those who want to expand their skill set. With guidance from our experienced instructors, you'll learn how to utilize our Green Screen studio and Adobe Premiere to produce your own video complete with visual and sound effects.
Games Technology
Our subject specialist tutors will guide you through an introduction to the world of game design using Unreal Engine 5. This session will focus on level design with pre-made assets, and learning how to add and arrange them to create an immersive gaming experience. You will be challenged with intentional problems that your characters will face while moving around the map. Through the guidance of our experts, you will learn to add assets to the level and place them strategically to enable the character to proceed through the level. This workshop is perfect for those who want to take their first step towards game design and learn how to create engaging and interactive gaming environments.
Music Production
Our subject specialist tutors will guide you through an introduction to the world of music production using Logic Pro X.
Beginners will focus on building the foundations of a track in their favourite genre using loops & samples. This is a great way to get started with music production without having to worry about creating your own samples & synthesized sounds.
For those with some prior experience, we will be focusing on using samplers & synthesizers and learning how to create different midi patterns and element traits for different electronic music genres. This session is perfect for those who want to take their arrangements to the next level and create more complex and sophisticated compositions. We'll cover a range of genres, from garage and house to dubstep and drum and bass.
Esports
Join our esports workshop and discover how to take your streaming to the next level!
Our tutors will guide you through the ins and outs of casting through OBS, allowing you to showcase your gameplay like never before. From setting up your stream to adding overlays and graphics, you'll learn everything you need to know to create a professional-grade broadcast that will engage your viewers and promote your brand.
But that's not all - our workshop also includes a thrilling tournament where you can put your newfound casting skills to the test. Compete against other gamers and show off your skills in a fun and friendly environment, all while receiving valuable feedback from our esports teams & tutors.
