Easter holiday tours for Y11s at St Brendan's (Dates Passed)

This is a reminder that the next NHS Allied Healthcare Work Experience is coming up on Sunday 2nd April. Whether you are considering nursing, medicine, or any other healthcare profession, this work experience is vital to gain valuable insight to help make an informed decision! NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) offers an annual science-based work experience programme at some centres. It is co-ordinated by our Scientific and Clinical Training team. We are delighted to offer in-person work experience in 2023. The programme is for students aged 14-18 years (Years 10-13) who are interested in scientific or laboratory careers. In 2023, we are offering programmes as below: Bristol (Filton) 03 – 07 July Bristol (Filton) 10 – 14 July We are only offering programmes at these centres and there are no opportunities at other sites in 2023. Following the success of our in-person 'A Day in the Life of..' event yesterday, we are very happy to announce the exciting return of our annual 3 Part Online series called 'Journey to Medicine'! This series covers a variety of essential information, skills and resources required to have a strong successful application for Medicine. Hence we encourage anyone considering becoming a doctor to attend these valuable sessions created and organised by current University of Bristol Medical students! We think this would be incredibly helpful to students in years 10-12, but it is open to all. Bristol Legal Sector Work Experience (31st March - Date Passed)

The Careers Hub are pleased to share information about a work experience offer from one of their Cornerstone Employers. This is a collaborative work experience placement where students will visit a number of law firms in the area and learn about all the roles available within the sector (including HR, Marketing, IT etc). The deadline is 31 st March and the placements will be based in Bristol and Bath.
