NHS Virtual Work Experience

Calling year 10 and 11, The NHS are running a 6 month virtual work experience programme. This programme is suitable for students in year groups 10-13 who are interested in the following careers: - Nursing - Midwifery - Paramedicine - Physiotherapy - Occupational Therapy - Dietetics - Radiography - Prosthetics and Orthotics - Speech and Language Therapy - Pharmacy During the work experience day, students will follow 2 patients from their initial presentation to recovery. They will gain a unique insight into how patients interact with a variety of healthcare professionals and what it's like to work in an NHS multidisciplinary team. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with healthcare professionals throughout each day. This will empower students to make an informed career decision and demonstrate their commitment to healthcare in their UCAS applications. Access Creative College 23/24 Event details

23/24 Open Days at Access Creative College  Sat.4th Nov - 11am-2pm (Booking link) Sat.2nd Dec - 11am-2pm (Booking link) Tues.27th Feb - 6pm-7:30pm Sat.20th Apr - 11am-2pm Tues.25th Jun - 6pm-7:30pm Thurs.22nd Aug - 10am-3pm (Open Day & GCSE Drop-In Day) Fri.22nd Aug - 10am-3pm (Open Day & GCSE Drop-In Day)   We will also be hosting Taster Days for any creative students who are in Year 10 - Year 13 so that they can come and have a 'taster' of some of the practical activities found within our Games, Music, Media & Computing courses. The dates for these are as follows: 23/24 Taster Days at Access Creative College  Sat.25th Nov - 11am-1pm Tues.19th Mar - 6pm-8pm Sat.18th May - 11am-1pm Tues.16 Jul - 11am-1pm Year 11's, Year 13's (to be confirmed)   Others may be added throughout the year, I will be sending more details (including booking links) nearer the time
